I have a 05' Civic Si (Equivelent to EX in US) and i like it, i dont know too much about the "SPED" edition, i think it just has the MP3 deck..

I like almost everything about it. And its got pretty good high end, shtty low end, but hey, its a civic.

Just wait till i'm done with her, shes gonna be crazy...

people don't like the special edition? It's not bad... It has a cool cd player I guess... and maybe some rims I don't have... I think its good value.

Thats where I was gonna go. My first ride was a pimp-*** '91 Cavalier RS, in 1996...(RIP)

I didn't even know there was a special edition civic. Whats so "special" about it? Is it special, like-need-a-helmut-special...? Nevermind.

indeed. 16 and driving and $18k slow car... spoiled. My first car when I was 16 was a 1982 Ford LTD back in 1996. Now that was a tough s.o.b. of a car. ran into concrete pillars and broke the concrete but never hurt the big steel/chrome bumpers. people slowing down when you drive up behind them. You know what i'm takling about, the car was white, looked like a cop car.

None of you fools answered his damn question

Most people don't like it because it is way too much money for the parts you get. You get rims, spoiler, radio, etc. You can spend the same amoung of money and get parts that are 4 times better than honda "aftermarket" parts. That is why people don't like it.

Anyhow, back to the topic. A 2005 at 16? Sheat, at 16 (1997) I had a '85 s-10 blazer. No way my parents would get me something nice and new. It was a hand me down from my uncle. Oh, Thanks again Uncle Steve.

LOL funny thread. I drove an 85 dodge conversion van in 96. I would pack it with all my friends. That big as.s boat was embarassing but it got me to school. I took the bus like 3 months later cause the damn think left me stranded in the school parking lot.

yep, good times.

omg did someone forget the LEATHER WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL?

but ya the SE is like 500 bucks more than the normal ex for the 6 disk indash cd/mp3 player, spoiler, diff wheels, and ya the steering wheel. Only downside really is the wheels are cheaper and gayer. other than that tho good deal.

ya i got one lol.

it would be drivers race because of weight. lx has long gears which is a downfall

Never even heard of the Special Edition. I looked it up. Just looks more expensive. Ah well. I don't doubt its nice though. A better special edition would be the coupe with the K20 engine. I still don't know why honda didn't make the coupe with the K20.

Now if i had the chance to go back. I would have stuck with just body modifications. The engine performance did nothing more than make my car fugin loud.
