new job, time to upgrade?
i'm getting a new job very soon that pays much more than i am getting paid right now. and i'm thinking about upgrading from the civic. as much as i love my civic, i think i'd enjoy one of the following more:
-used 2002+ civic Si ($13K-$14K-ish)
-used 2002-2004 RSX type-S ($15K-$16k-ish)
-used 2000-2001 S2000 ($18K-$20K-ish)
i love all the cars, i have driven them all. if i get the s2000, i wont be able to afford my project car AE86. what are all your opinions?

Si vs s2000 is totally different car as you know.
If you can afford s2k, then go with that.
I am getting rid of my si for somthing else

Cons= Ugly height stock, I am sure you are thinking about lowering ep , if you ended up getting one.
For that matter, i got progress suspension setup that you can buy
I had ep for 2 years now, not a single problem.
Car drives like day 1 and love it.
It's good car overall, good gas mileage(30 mpg), quick enough.
Just quick and simple mods will take care of stock uglyness.
