Progress & Neuspeed sway bars
Progress & Neuspeed sway bars
I just installed a 27mm progress technology front sway bar and a Neuspeed 22mm rear sway bar, Just want to let everone know what problems i had so you don;t mke the same mistakes i did. For the front progress sway bar, instructions say remove exhaust after cat converter if you do that you will not be able to get the sway bar into place gotta remove exhaust from manifold, the it will go into place no problem. Also if you are using a neuspeed x brace with the sway bar you're gonna have to grind one corner off of the spacer plate if you don't the rear x brace holes will not line up. Other than that install is easy.
For the neuspeed rear sway bar, when you remove factory controll are bolt's you will notice that the bolts have a taper on them, the taper make installing the holes ine up verry easy. The neuspeed controll arm bolts do not have a taper on them i tryed everthing to get the holes lined up nothing works, grind a small taper on them install as far as they will go and hit them with a hammer then thell but in place no fighting controll are to line up holes. i allready installed a neuspeed rear tie bar on my car befor i got the rear sway bar, both will work together with no problems.
Other the the minor problems i had both install's were easy. I deffentally noticed a big difference in the handling of my car since i installe the sway bars.
