So for Cinco De Mayo 9 of us went down to Mexico to party, not only for Cinco but it was for a bachelor party as well. Anyways we get down there Thursday afternoon and drank, went out and partied. Friday we hung out at the beach, ate, drank and went out again that night. Saturday morning we went deep sea fishing, than slept than drank and than got ready to go out and this is when **** hit the fan. We all went out to Manny's Beach Club than to the Pink Cadillac, was having a great time all night. Well one of the guys that drove us down there decides to leave early with some chick he hooked up with down there, he went back to the hotel and took a taxi back. He was the guy taht drove us down there to the bars in his Blazer. So 8 of us were remaining at the bar, 6 of them jumped into a cab and since it was full we hopped onto a lifted golf cart with some people we had met at the bar that was staying at the same resort we were staying at. On our trip back we got about a block away from the resort and the damn buggy died so we had to pull it over and he had to adjust some coil on the shifter to get it to get back into gear. While we were waiting the Police pulled up next to us and asked everyone to get out. So we all got out and than we had to empty our pockets and than they frisked us. While he was patting me down he was digging through a pack of smokes I had and than pulled some **** on me and said I had cocaine on me. WTF!!! I've never seen the **** in my life. IT was just a super tiny amount, less than the size of my pinky finger nail. He shined this tiny wrapper into a headlight and rubbed it and powder came out. So than he said he had to arrest me. Well instead of arresting just me he also arrested my buddy that was with me too. He let all the other people go that were in that golf car. I was going to high tail it out of there and run, since we were a block from the resort. But the guys were like "dont run, they will **** you up." So I decided not to run and they pulled out the handcuffs, so I cooperated and hopped into the police truck. On our way to the station I was scared shitless, I had no idea what was going to happen. They were saying that we could leave in the morning at 10:00am and that we had to stay in jail and it was going to cost $200.00 a head to get out. On our way there we wip out our wallets and tried to pay the ****ers off. So once we did that they pulled off onto a dark alley with no lights and pulled us out of the truck. WE gave them all our money (I had $42 left and my buddy aaron had $100 yet) That still wasn't enough so we gave them our watch's too. He was starring at my $500 digital camera, I was like no way **** that man, so we paid them the lil money we had and gave them our watch's (both valued over $100 easily) than they asked where we were staying and took us back to the resort. Well we get back to the resort and walk in the room and that dude that left early had this chick bent over on the couch, not a site I wanted to see. She was some seniorita from Chiwawa, MX. Anyways we were pissed and they fniished their thing and she left. The next morning we get up, still pissed from what happened and we just wanted to leave. Well since the dude that left early and was doing that chick left his blazer down by the bars we had to go pick it up. So we hopped in the other truck we brought down, went over there to pick it up and turned the corner hoping it was still there and it was. So that was relief. My buddy gets out to hop in it and than I hear "A F*CK" and than noticed that the passenger window was busted out. Than once the door was hopen the entire steering column was all jacked up. Someone tried to steal the blazer, and the worst part is, they messed up the ignition entirely bad. We couldnt even get the key in there to start it. So here we are in Mexico, can't go anywhere, no vehicle to get home for half of us and ti's Sunday, businesses are closed. Our mexican insurance was to expire in 30 minutes, no cell phone to call since they dont work down there, we were stranded. The other guys hopped into their truck to take a drive to try to find a tow truck so we could tow the blazer to the boarder atleast and than have someone try to fix it on Monday. AS they were driving around they found a hardware store and some guy walking out of it. THey pulled up and talked to him, luckily he was fluent in English, also he was the GM of the store and lastly he used to be a lock smith for 10 yrs. He came out to cehck out the blazer and said he could fix it. 1hr later our vehicle was working, he was able to pull out the ignition and replace it with a universal new one. So hal ley lu yeah! we get to go home. Well the other shitty thing on top of the blazer nearly getting stolen, one of the guys leather jacket was in there and got stolen, all the cds we had were stolen also my $300 Escort Passport 8500 got stolen as well. that pisses me off because that is the 2nd one I've gone through.

Ok so were on our way home just crusing along nice and slow and pissed off, we get about 13 miles from Maricopa, almost home!! and the blazer dies out on the middle of the road. The damn transmission was slipping and it wouldnt go faster than 35. Not sure what hte problem was, Matt the owner fo the blazer could give a **** and just wanted to get home. So we went 35 miles an hour and still had like 40 miles to go, so yeah that took for damn ever but we finally made it back. It was the longest trip home from Mexico ever!

So besides being mugged, arrested, vehicle broken into and nearly stolen and watching my buddy **** some nasty chick, it was a pretty fun time! I'm just happy to be back in the USA in 1 piece and not still sitting in Mexican jail. I'm debating whether I ever want to go back to Rocky Point or not after this incident.

If you ever need a phone in Mexico you can always buy a Phone cars, theyre like $30 pesos ($2.8 usd), also you should probably try to have some one know how to speak spanish, and not just the basics.....

There are some preatty cool places here you could go to, but usually americans prefer places were you can get laid easily and drunk for cheap, and thats a risk you have to take when you go to those places...

its not that bad, just dont go with people who like to start drama. We will not let anybody comes who starts drama, and it is understand that if somebody acts stupid, we WILL leave them, we will not back them up. In AZ, of course well back each other up, NOT IN MEXICO. so we basically screen people before we go, so well have a good time.

agreed. You really need people that know how to speak spanish when you go down there. I speak pretty decent spanish, and 2 other people spoke about the same as me. We got a long fine. We made friends with most the town of puerto penasco. (rocky point). At night time, never drive your car, just take a taxi, have people who speak spanish, DO NOT PEE ANYWHERE BUT A BATHROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you WILL go to jail if caught). Its not too bad down there, just chill out, and be good (other than what you can do legally......everything). sucks that all happened though.

oh, and we had a phonecard. It worked at 2 payphones, both of which were broken, lol.

oh yeah forgot about that, the first night we were there I peed in the parking lot of our resort. There was a flashlight shining on me from the 4th fl of our resort, i thought it was just people laughing at me or something, than come to find out it was the security. They were going to immediately evict us from the resort. Luckily they gave us a 2nd shot and let us finish our stay. Yeah I agree, dont pee outside anywhere, they get pretty pissed. Not sure why, but damn!

If you pee outside, you are peein on Mexico. It is very disrespectful to pee on their town. You will spend a night in jail if the policia/federalis see it. I know 2 people on different trips who had to spend a night in jail. I peed all over that town, lol, but didnt get caught. With all that drinking, and not enough bathrooms, it sucks at times. I didnt know not to pee other than a bathroom, so I was very lucky. Me and my friends peed everywhere I swear. Inside the club on the floor (bathroom was too busy) But that was at Tropics, so it was all good, right NEAR the bathroom at least.

Did you go to Tropics. They are better than Mannys. 8-10 bucks gets you in and all you can drink. Mannys is a ripoff. Much better music at Tropics as well. and Mechanical bull (with naked girls on it, haha) Tropics had a lot of ( . v . ) and (_)(_) (***)

ya..ill never go to mexico because of **** like this. my wifes best friend was in a car accident down there....her car rolled and killed one of her passnegers...well she was arrested and $700 and 2 days later she got to come home...this is only because someone on the trip...their brother in law new a mexican cop....i guess if someone dies in the car your driving...youre guilty of murder until proven innocent...


needless to say...ill head north to vegas if i wanna have a good time.

funny you say that! we were goin to go to either vegas or to rocky point. Some of the people have never been there before and we kinda wanted to hang out by the beach, so we chose rocky point. Owell, I learned my lesson. I've been down there a handful of times and this is the 1st time i've had a problem. **** happens huh.

aint that the damn truth...ive got Rocky Point stories as well...2 friends got busted for peeing just outside some bar [dont remember the name] and me and another guy were sitting in the bed of the truck, and damn cop tried to say we were just as guilty as the 2 peeing...I said F no were not! Luckily the other 2 guys gave the cop $20 a piece and we were let go. anyway...yeah...im not going back...ever.

yeah peeing out in public, will get you arrested,

also when in an accident if anyone on either party needs or takes medical attention, both drivers are automaticaly "arrested" until they're proven inocent.......

So if your in a small accident, fender bender, something like that, even if you feel a little bit ill, don't accept the medical attencion from the ambulance, you're better off going to the hospital later....

yeah in houston it seems more and more and more mexicans than americans.. just got a new radio station that took over our ROCK station and they scream all day long "latino and proud, we are taking over". I'm like damn can they be any more blunt about it. the school I went to was mostly white w/ maybe 10 black peeps at the most is now I would say 60% hispanic/35%white/5%black. it is crazy cuz it has been less than 5 years!!!

Yeah man it's messed up, I hope those Minutemen help keep out all the hispanics out of this country. I really dont have an issue with them, because I have a decent handful of friends that are Mexican. But they are more Mexican/American, born and raised in the USA vs all the boarder jumper illegal aliens, those are the ones I dont like! They take their habits they created in their country and bring them to ours. But yeah, AZ is definately more hispanic for the most part than anything else, I'm just waiting for a small Mexico City to form, but yeah.......

yep, just drove through there yesterday! I work on Hardy/Elliot and took Priest north up to AZ Mills. Plus I used to live a few blocks from Guad, over on Priest/Southern. Not a fun place, it's scary at night and during the day it's ok. Usually a butload of cops sitting there patrolling their 25mph speed limit with 100 stopsigns in a 5 mile radius.
