alright guys (girls, if any), since there isn't alot of activity in our section... i'll take the initiative and start "this" thread so we can get a few ideas for our next meet.
several of you suggest we have a sunday meet in order to be fair to everyone else... we can have a tally or whatnot to decide if it'll be a saturday meet or a sunday.
please do not ***** this thread up... just post up your ideas and suggestions for our next meet.
i was thinking of a meet maybe at the end of may - early june but it's all up to you guys. as soon as we figure out what we are doing, i will make a list of people that will be attending.
thanks guys (girls...)

busse is the most likely idea however, just like to see what people are up for. gearbox, its cool... we are not set on the date yet so we can probably schedule around.
redspeed, thanks for your ideas... seems like you want to have a meet just as much as i do. we can also do a cruise like you suggested.
i also think we should take up on checking out a couple of shops for sponsorship or something.

well if we are going to cook out again, probly busse. If not then probly hooters, since they have ample parking and there is no age limit. I would like to hear some ideas on a little more south for the guys that come from way south (lansing, kankakee). I knwo most live up north but its only fair to travel a little for the south guys, they have done it hte last 4 meets for you northerners

a lakefront meet is a great idea... lets see where adam [boost_junkie] thinks about this... he'll be able to coordinate since he helped coordinate a lakefront meet for another club.

Or we should have a meet then go to a club...or chicagoindoorracing thingy wit the go karts..that would be fun..

-I like the go carts
-lake isnt bad, but I dont think there are too manny spots unless you want to do a beach
- if its busse, bring some horshoes or someone with a bag toss!
-might be better to email, cause if they didnt know about last meet that meeans they probly dont check the forum, so might not even get PM

i really like the idea of the gokarts as well. find out the location and phone number of the place.
meets at busse/ lakefront usually means just hanging out eating and such. might be a good time for a change.
i pmed some people already but maybe a handful of you may want to email them just in case. we should be looking to get a large turnout for this one... hopefully.

Belmont Harbor has a nice parking lot, right next to the Lake, and has an awesome view of the city. The entrance is on Irving Park Rd.
Here's a pic from that location:

ok whats everyone's take on the date? how about june 11 or june 12? its on a weekend so we can decide if a sunday or saturday... or if anyone else wants a different day...
we can get people to meet and follow others to the location.
doesnt seem like there's alot of interest in this meet. or maybe they arent getting their PMs/emails. theres only a handful of us so far...
