well, as some of y'all know i have been looking for new rims to replace my year-old 18" ADR Model Flite 4s that are in the pic in my signature below...anyway, i took the pair of blowouts that occurred during a 1,000 mile road trip (i was running some Federal 215/35ZR18s) as an opportunity to get new rims and tires...

i placed the order yesterday morning, and they shipped today from Cincinatti, Ohio, so they should be here within a couple more days...

the wheels are 18 x 7.5 Konig Unknowns, and the tires are 215/40ZR18 BF Goodrich G-Force KDW T/As...

as soon as they get delivered i'll have 'em on and get some pics up...my car has come a long way since the pic in my signature, so it's time to get some pics up anyway...the current list of mods includes an OEM-style carbon fiber hood, a major suspension drop courtesy of some Neuspeed Race springs, and cleared headlights, so it definitely looks alot different...anyway, i'll update this same thread with pics within the next few days, so keep your eyes open...and please, feel free to let me know what you think about the rims or anything else...thanks!

dammit man...ok so i got rear ended by a old *** 300ZX going like 45 MPH, so my car is heading to the body shop in a coule days...i just ordered a new rear bumper, taillight assembly, and that little styrofoam bumper guard thingy that fits behind the bumper, and as soon as they get here i'll be able to put my car on the little frame straightener and see what all needs to be done...

however..................i'm taking this opportunity to get every little dent, ding, and scratch removed from my car, and i'm getting the ENTIRE car repainted...it's currently NHBP, but it's about to be House of Kolor Shimrin Black Pearl, and i'm getting my CF hood re-cleared...it's gonna be so purty...anywho, i'll get pics of the rims up tomorrow, since they're coming mounted and balanced, but the rest of the pics of the car are going to have to wait about another week and a half or so...so check back soon...thanks!

haha...i thougt the same thing, theni went with "hell yeah"...i looked at the bumper laying on the ground and $hit and just laughed...i kinda assumed something stupid was going to happen since we were out on some redneck a$$ dirt roads doing donuts in the mud with a bunch of my boys (300ZX, 240SX, Eclipse, Integra, '00 Civic Si, and a 3000GT...all turbo, except for me )

anyway, i take things like this as an opportunity to upgrade:
- a Z-71 backed over my hood = new CF hood
- flat tire = new rims and tires (gonna be here via UPS tomorrow, by the way)
- busted up muffler = GReddy Evo2 catback

bad thing is all these upgrades are out-of-pocket...so between the new rims/tires, body repair, new paint job, etc. i'm looking at almost $4000...but i reckon nobody ever said this $hit was cheap, huh?
