bolt breaker... Then a new bolt from a dealership... Or drill it out.

if its only one bolt... it won't affect exhaust flow at all... But get a replacement if you drill it asap.

i had the same problem. they got this stripped nut remover kit at Sears, for like $30. thign worked great. three turns and the nut was loose. thing digs into the stripped nut and wont let it go after that.

lol thats like a diy on how to strip a nut immidiately lol... but im glad you got it to work lol i would never do that

my friend broke one of those pin socket thingys from wall mart on a nut i got off with 1 hand with a good socket wrench.

best way to do it get a friend, and a breaker bar, one of you put all your weight foward against the bolt from the back of the wrench, other turn it with the breaker bar(or any steel pipe that fits snug around the back of your wrench.)
if this doesnt work, its not coming off w/o drilling. and make shure the engine is totaly cooled down before doing this as they expand like a mother when its 600 degrees lol.

I had the same problem and the things Ashhole was talking about... Grip outs (something of that nature) worked great. Get nice set from $20-$30.

How can you jack your own thread?
I would save the drilling and cutting and all those other suggestions for last option. Aluminium is soft and delicate(easily stripped) be careful. Iv'e used the wd-40 and vise grips before and it worked and didn't work. I'd rather do that then drill it out My favorite tool for stuck anything, is a impact tool. It's not so much how stuck it is, as getting force on the nut.

i had the same problem. The stock nuts are soo soft that if you use a chisel-style punch you can pretty much cut it in half with a 2.5 lb hammer.
