depends on what you are going for. Street use, I'm sure they are perfectly fine. Track use... They are an unknown. got spring rates? What does the shock valving adjustment change? Rebound? Bump? and how much of a difference is there between the softest and stiffest settings? lots of unknowns as far as tuning is concerned. and what spring rates can the dampers handle? (assuming you decided to alter the "stock" rates)

I've seen them run with up to 1000LB springs before... but they were on an autocross only car and they were replaced every year. Otherwise, I'm under the impression that OTS koni Yellows will handle 500 to 700 LB/in spirings (According to the guys on SCCAforums), though as you increase the rate it may be a good idea to have the Konis revalved to work better with the higher rate (Thats something Few coilover companys offer)

Is there any way to confirm the maximum spring rate that OTS konis can handle?

Easiest way is to Email Koni. but any way, konis can be rebuilt and revalved to work with any spring rate. thats one of the main reasons they are so prolific in club racing today.
