it's a really funny thread if you've got the time to read it.

my fav race was against the civic hatch that was tellin me that his car was nick named "celica killer" cause he's never lost to a celica gts before. boy was he surprised when I beat him lol I also ran a sentra spec v who also claimed he was gonna beat me.

the vid's 21 mb cause there's 5-6 runs on it so 56k beware.

Nice runs. Poor mr civic hatch. For that high of elevation that's pretty damn good. I can't get to CRSX on this Govt computer so can you tell me what year and what mods the RSX had?

it is a 2005 rsx type S with I/RH/E

aparently the 2005 rsx's got new gear ratios and the previous type R upgrade cams come stock which is why it's rated at 210 hp from the factory. (from what I read on crsx.com)
he said he dynoed 203 whp with I/E alone and he said he hadnt dynoed since he added the RH.

soon as we'd hit 3rd gear he'd pull 2-3 cars on me. our 1/8 mile times were very close.

^^ workin on it. I'm hopin to skip straight to 12's lol this motor isnt running too great but I'm not gonna fix it since I'm working on getting the other one fully built.

right now I'm getting misfires on all 4 cylinders and my #3 & 4 pistons are getting oil past the rings I'm hopin to be well over 210 whp on the new motor so it'll be worth it in the end. it's all an experiment though since I'll be the first one doin this that I know of. so I'll prolly go through a few different setups before I get it dialed in good.

That's what I thought. Can't wait to get mine. Once Hondata comes out for them it should be possible to put down some good #s NA. Good luck with the motor build.

well, thats a long story lol I have them sitting in my garage but they can't be installed cause they are too aggressive and we can't find a machine shop with the capabilities to properly make the new valve shims we need at a reasonable price. it would cost 2x more for the shims then it did to make the cams so that's not even worth it.

so the cams have been redesigned and are at the shop being made right now. should be no problems with the new ones.
