RSX 21mm rear sway

Would I have any issues installing a stock 21 mm rear sway off an RSX-S on my 01 civic EX Sedan? Does anybody know if it would rub up on anything? I also have a generic alluminum tie bar back there and am worried they wont go hand in hand.

it might rub against an aftermarket exhaust. It should be fine with generic tie.

A friend of mine put a 24mm on his Integra and told me to go at least 21mm. And its kind of nice to know that type s fits the civic since its cheaper.

He does have a tie bar. Besides, I don't think that it is going to rip anything.

Right now my handling does not feel very responsive, I want my car to handle nice and tight. The back end seems to roll way too much for my taste when I am taking fast corners. The 21mm is off the 2005 type S.

I believe the rsx bar is 19mm, but the type s is 21mm. I don't know if they upped it for 05.

Responsiveness is a Damper issue not a spring/anti-roll bar issue. and Ignor the body roll, How is the car actually handling? Oversteer? Understeer? where and when?

Some of the front bars are too. I know of at least one RSX-S running an 03+ Civic EX front bar (15.9mm). He runs G-Stock

Well, I won the RSX 21mm rear sway off ebay just now for $56.00 plus 10$ shipping. Seems like a pretty good deal. I was a little dissapointed to get in a bidding war with robbclark1 over the dang thing though. Could have got it cheaper. Oh well I still got a good deal.

It says it comes with "21mm rubber bushings and mounting brackets (these are reinforced to work with the 21mm bar)". But do any of you know if I should buy any extra mounting hardware to reinforce it to prevent it from ripping out? If so, any suggestions what kind and where to get it?
