Question Upper Mounts

What are the symptoms of fugged up upper mounts??

Ever since i had my new shocks installed, there's kinda strange noise coming from the front struts and i think it the mounts, it happens sometime when the sock either compresses or elongates, but its only some times

i thought i was a blown shock but i have no il on them, and they get warm when using them so, i now theyre working....

02SILVEREX has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Dead mounts sound like a knocking, when you go over bumps. It sounds like your strut or shock is rattling around inside of the mount.... knock knock knock....

They could also be loose. I had a bad noise in my passenger side suspension, and when I went to get the CV replaced he tightened up the mounts. Noise gone. Now the other side is doing it. Might be time to invest in a torque wrench.
