I remember back when I used to collect cards.. maybe 10 years ago, you could find value for sports cards in Beckett and comic cards in Wizard. I'm not sure what's around nowadays, but i'm assuming Comic cards are.... worthless... I've spent a lot of money on that!

yeah becket... i have a shaq rookie card but its only worth like $40
I remember back then I used to get stoked for having a card thats worth $100... eh now i can make $100 in a day and wonder why i ever collected cards... i guess it wasnt really the money but the suprise you get from opening a pack? *shrugs*

Yup, beckett is the source! Nowadays, it's all kinds of different series for these name brand cards. Back in the day it was just Topps, Donruss, Fleer and some other ones. Now it's like Topps Gold, Topps Silver........and like 10 types of Topps cards. I'm lost in all that stuff now.

I have a pretty big collection of baseball cards too but now that they made that grading system it seems like they arent worth anything unless they are sent in to be graded
