Maxspeed Springs?

I was looking on Wheelsnext.com for some new 18" wheels and they are giving these Maxspeed Lowering Springs for free, are these things any good, they told me that they lower the car down to almost 2.5", thats a crazy drop (to me anyway). Any info would be appreciated, thanx.

they are POS my friend has them and the ride is horrible and its not a 2.5 drop more like 1.5

do you have to buy something to get them free? Let me know asap. They arent for my car, I have Goldlines, and would never swap out these for those, but would like to have those. Thanks
