HELP! Will + rep you if you do! My friend drives a 97 Accord LX
the drivers side power window stopped working. He can make the window roll down, but not roll back up. All the other windows work okay. I'm guessing its the switch? Thanks!

Rep Power: 308 If the window rolls down...Its unlikely that its the switch....I bet its the motor....Check to see if the window goes up with you helping it along....If it does go up slowly with help...its the motor

Rep Power: 389 I had this happen in my 02 vic. Unplug the switch make sure its clean and then plug it back in. all the switches have to be connected in order to have a complete circut so try it after that.

Can you hear the motor click when you try to roll it up? if you see that the motor doesn't even try its the switch but if you notice that the motor tries its either the regulator or the motor, but I work at a Salvage Yard and probably you won't be able to just find the motor or the regulator by it self......you got to buy them together.....

Rep Power: 295 motor won't click. even if you press the switch, window wont roll up. cant get the window up at all. do we have to remove the door panel and replace the switch?
