Making a car a show car

How would you go about making your car into a show car? I mean what if I do the following mods:

-body kit
-17" rims
-exaust
-intake
-cf hood
-strut bar
-stereo system
-tint
-neon underglow
-new hoses under the hood
-painted dash and stuff...
-whole new suspension system

Whould that cut it for a show car, or is that not "enough?"

Well it sure as hell would look nice and would win a few, if you seriously want to win the big shows like at nopi or hot import nights though, add:
A very nice paintjob
custom body work
make the engine really shiny
lower it, alot
very low profile tires

just my .02, id give anything for my car to have just what you have listed tho so ya know

Depends what you're going for. Do u want a sleeper or a crazy ride? Know what I mean...

I would do the following...

Body Kit (not too flashy, but noticeable)

18" rims

custom headlights

Basic Bolt-ons, plus a few major ones

upgraded interior

little noticable details attended to...

possibly graphics and a carbon fiber hood

I like my cars clean, yet aggressive... but that's me personally

I'm wanting to go for a car that's hooked up, but not something really out there. Like I don't want a car that I know will be boosted if I park in a area known for these kinds of things. Just something that's hooked up, but nothing major. I'm thinking body kit, rims, exaust, lower is kinda over board in my "idea" but it would look tight! I live in a rich city so I don't have to worry about my car getting boosted as much as I would in a metro area.

I'm also not going to be so hardcore with showing as to where I would have 2 diff sets of rims and stuff like that because I'm thinking it wouldn't be a problem just as long as I take care of my rims. What do you guys suggest for rims and stuff? I have a white sedan, would white on white look better, or would silver look better?

for a show car i'd add:

body kit
17"s
lower it just a tad 1.5-2 inches
sweet sound system
interrior and exterrior lighting
video system of some sort, probably two 5 1/2 screens in the visors, i've seen it done
empty NOS bottle just for bluffing, don't even bother wireing and hoses
painted parts to match car color, or chrome

but then again, those are just things i enjoy looking at on different cars. if you put them all together it could be really nice or look like you tried to do too much and be crappy

17's aren't going to cut it.. you need at least 18's or 19's .. mostly racing heart rims... it needs to be really low, coilovers... you need a killer system... a dvd player/video game system is almost a must... crazy body work... (widebody conversions) tail light & head lamp conversions...

racings seats and/or reupholstered seats...

don't forget everything needs to match, look clean, and be absolutely spotless..

Hmmm sounds like it's going to be harder than I thought

Maybe I'll just make my car into a kick *** car, and leave it at that
