WOW! Ford keeps sliding down the suck hill!

This time the trouble is with ONLY 3,700,000 pick-ups and SUV.
I like trunks that burst into flames. Just not when I'm driving it.

Yeaaaaa! Ford again shows why it's the King of Craptacular!

http://www.local6.com/automotive/4312015/detail.html

I'm so happy I buy Japanese.

And this has nothing to do with where the cars are assembled, only with where they are designed and engineered.

hahah
yea.
they do make nice cars: mustangs (the older ones), corvette, viper...umm....saleen s7..
but still.. if i was given any of these cars, i would sell it and buy an import.
for example: someone gives me the mustang.. ill sell it for 5k (because it lost its value instantly) and do a downpayment on a civic =)
i like imports better. they are just better in every aspect.

alot of my customers always complain about their domestics, and they go down the road of imports. i've seen this countless times.

Ford isn't all bad, its heading in the right direction, the SVT Focus, the new Mustang, the Mustang Cobra previewed today, the GT and the Shelby concept all illustrate this. A company of course has to acknowledge its past mistakes before it can move forward, but losing market share has a way of motivating people

Not to mention the firms that Ford has a large (read: controlling) stake in are producing numerous fine automobiles, proving that at least Ford has some modest skill when it comes to management.

They have not put an SVT on the road for a while, the head of SVT retired, and they hired a Japanese guy. So they might put out something good.

By the way, the next Cobra will be a Shelby.

And they do not make the Corvette.

Actually he is Chinese from Vietnam...and yes the new Cobra IS a Shelby labeled car. It debuted yesterday or today as the Shelby GT500 with a 440 HP power plant.

^^^Ahh, a good man. . . I want to like an American car. I do want this change to produce a quality American automobile.

I am not a guy that rags on the pushrod, but I am against a company (who has the #3 in market share) that refuses to incorporate new technology, and safety.

It's sad. . . the Saleen Mustang and the new GT-R appear to be excellent.

And they may rival the Corvette, the unweilding Viper (and we have not seen the production '06 Corvette ZR-1) has the Kings of affordable, yet nimble, street rods.

Where did Ford, Chevrolet, and (recently rising to the occacsion) partially Chrysler.

Lol, Ford had had this problem for years and years; they just don't know how to fix that "random bursting into flames" problem.

I'm tired of you stupid fanobys....oh Imports are god, everything else sucks. Grow the F up. Ford is doing the right thing. There are just as many imports that could have something short and start a fire. Electricity is electricity no matter who makes the car. What if the insulation on a wire in your Civic rubs off and exposes bare metal and it wets and shorts, are you going to claim that Honda is rolling down the sh*t hill? No because you're a f-ing fanboy. This is an INVESTIGATION, nothing has been proven. Holy crap electricity causes fires!!! Really?? Ford didnt invent physics. What about the Civic's problem with the front suspension. I read a TSB where the f-ing wheel could fall off. Why isnt it America up in arms about that? If domestics were SOOOOO damn dangerous and crappy you think 2 of the top 3 manufacturers in the world would be American?

Also I just have to add in Mustangs 99+ do not use pushrod motors.

And the chevys that do like the LS1 ect are very reliable motors that put out a tonne of power.

and another thing like I told you in the last thread and you just don't seem to get it, "your on a honda forum more often than not people in here are going to be biased to others auto makers. Thats why its called 7thgencivic not www.fixedorrepaireddaily.com !!!" Name calling is something that people who need to grow up do!!!.

check this out...LMAO honda has three recalls total on this non biased list!!!

http://www.mrtraffic.com/recall.htm

yea honda's are real junk tho. Well Im glad I bought one.

honda preludes have rear "shock knock" and always burn oil? Every car has its problems. Why are civic and EL window regulators so weak? You know who is # 1 for most reliable car right now - its a korean brand. Not a honda.

Kia Sedona was voted as least problems and most reliable for 2005.

Dont go by who makes the car go by the actual model and design.

Great another new member who knows everything, First off who voted that kia is #1, I didnt. and as for honda check the web just about every site you find that has anything to do with recalls you will see that hondas always have the very least amount, the civic has a 5star crash rating, highest resale, great on gas. I don't care how many people come in here and get mad about what's said your never going to win the debate about the longevity of a honda its not an opinion its fact, and once again read my post before running your trap, I never said that honda was the best your assuming that, I said that hondas hands down beat junk *** fords all day when it comes to reliablity, I dont care if my car is slow! Im not spending 30,000.00 on an crap *** camero or five point slow just so I can race people say yea I got fast car that will last 5 years. I would rather pay 15,000 half on a car that will outlast me!!!

Nobody 'votes', they just tally up initial quality problems on all cars in their first year of ownership and rank them that way. Seems pretty objective.

5 star crash rating? Is that front, side or back?

You don't really make too much sense when you type, I really hope you don't talk in reality like you type online. You need to calm down a bit.

yet another one jumps on the bandwagon!!LOL..If your going make a statement like that at least explain what your talking about. Dont just jump in run your mouth and not explain it. As for the crash ratings, this is the only site I found right now but there are plenty. http://www.hwysafety.org/vehicle_rat...html/00031.htm

But its funny your telling me to calm down, hmmm a little biased don't ya think? Look at metallica cussing becuase he's so pissed. Once agian what we have here is another person who doesnt like what he reads and just jumps in with nothing!.. Im still waiting to at least see a link that shows that hondas are junk? or something? Anyway without going far off the thread topic which was about fords not hondas, what about the suv's flipping over, what about the crown vic's exploding on side impacts..Don't make me laugh, and try to stay on the topic!

Remember the last time you made fun of a domestic recall? Honda put one out the next week.
