Touch up & Accessory Painting
Touch up & Accessory Painting
Anyone got advice ony painting parts yourself? any good methods? i'd like to learn myself, to save money of course. besides matching the paint codes, anyone got a step-by-step process to achieving that PERFECT match? thanks
Well calling honda will get you all the OEM color codes and you can actually buy all the paint through them. If you are going to be use the little bottles of touch up paint i can tell you now its almost impossible to make it look good. As for painting interior body panels there is a few threads on this website that can be pretty helpfull. sorry after reviewing this response im not helping much but search this site there is alot of people on here that have had threads open for this
Thanx
'preciate the advice... i ran up $300 on my ride. it's rediculous, the scratch isn't more than 2 inches. i tried touch up n i didnt like it... color code and all... guess i better learn to paint.. Back From The Banned!

^^ yuup, touch up doesnt cut it if you want original look.... I do use touch up on the metal parts of the car hoping to not have it rust....... cant afford expensive paint jobs.
www.paintscratch.com is a good place to buy oem paint, plus they have some helpful hints.
No!!! Do not buy from paintscratch.com!!!
Do not buy from paintscratch.com!!! I repeat do NOT buy from paintscratch.com!!! There paint doesn't even match your car and there customer service fvcking sucks! My paint job is all fvcked up now because of those fvcking bastards and they won't even give me a refund for their fvcked up paint. Fvck them! Warn everyone you know and let's put these fvckers out of business. I mean look at their sh*tty website... it is a direct replica of how their paints look. You have been warned.
