I Need Your opinion on Coil over
I just want your opinion on Coil over springs like Ground control, Matrix etc. When you adjust your height what is your basis to know, that all four of your spring are in the same height. Do you count the thread? Do you count how many turns you make or by highering the car and lower it and decide by your own judgement that all four spring are in equal height? Because its realy hard to tell if all four wheels has the same gap with it's fender? Not like those lowering spring you know exactly, that they are all equal. But the downside on that is you can't adjust your ride height
This is just my opinion, but Coilovers are for show cars....not for street cars. Get some Eibach springs and some Koni struts,
that is a operfect combination for a street car and your daily driver. IMO.

I've made myself a set of wood spacers, one for the front, one for the rear. So, when I adjust my Ground Controls, I put the spacer on the bottom of the sleeve, and turn the perch until it is tight against it, pull off the spacer, and do the other side. Do the same with each corner, and "TADA", my ride height is exactly where I want it to be, exactly even from left to right, and where I want the front and rear to sit.
Just "eyeballing" your fender gap is not a proper way to adjust your coil overs, if you do that, and you have your perches adjusted unevenly, then if you leave them like that for a while, then the spring in that corner will get used to being compressed that much, and will not ride like the others.
