Change remote all unlock to SINGLE press
OK, which one of you bright guys can figure out how to make my EX unlock all doors with just one remote unlock press? I always need all doors to unlock, and it is far too easy to get the 2-press-all-unlock sequence wrong that I end up pressing the remote about four times just to make sure all the doors are unlocked. I know most folks will think I'm nuts, but when you have a squirming kid in one hand, groceries in the other - you just want the frigging doors to unlock!
Thanks for any and all help!

I like mine the way it is pressing twice to unlock the both door. I think thats for safety reason that's why it was design like that. So when your like in ghetto place or somewhere that your all alone. Only the driver side can be open and the passenger door remain lock so no one can enter on those door without your knowledge.

Yeah, yeah. I know the reasons WHY it's like that - but that just doesn't concern me. I don't take the kids to the ghetto much these days. And if I did, I'd have to unlock all the frigging doors anyway!

<< Have you tried installing an alarm with power lock features maybe that help. Because it will overwrite the OEM power Lock >>
I checked with my local installer, and for $120 they'll put in an aftermarket remote system, so I'd leave the stock remote at home, and just carry the new one. That's a useable idea, but I can't believe there isn't something more simple to change the stock behavior.
yeah that's exactly my local installer told me. Well I like the looks of my OEM remote so I wont trade it with another remote. But if Honda dealers instal your alarm you still keep your OEM remote. But it cost around $600 bucks.
But if you know where the main box for the power door is located. That controls the lock and unlock features. I think you can modify it and series the wires connect the passenger power lock wire to the driver side power lock. That would trigger the door lock at the same time

You would sure think so, huh? But I'm told it is a bit more involved than that, and a different resistance is used to trigger the different locks. If it was easy, I think lots of folks would be doing it. Of course if I had the electrical manual from Helm, this would be easier to figure out - but I'm trying to do it with the minimum of cash outlay, of course.
