**** OLD THREAD **** Houston MEET July 2nd
ok guys, we are having a big meet on July 2nd...The meet will be in Houston, Tx, we are projecting about 20-25 7thgens so far, but I think it would be cool if we had like a big southern meet where folks from LA, FL, MS, OK and all the others in between, Since I know it is a bit of a drive for some of you guys, we are currently looking into a big group rate at one of the hotels locally, so far the cheapest we have found I believe is around 59.00 per night...This is going to be a blast so please come if you can!!!
We are going to do the meet on Saturday the 2nd, then on Sunday the 3rd, we were thinking of driving down to galveston (abount an hour or so) to the ocean for lunch or something...

Rep Power: 0 Yeah I would like to go either way I probably will. We just need to set a firm date, and place. NT7g we can get a group rate on a hotel if this is going to be more than one night... and seriously if we are gona do it, then lets stay a weekend sheesh

If we do it in Houston we need to rally as many members as we can to go cuz i want it to be worth my full tank of gas and 3 1/2 hr road trip down there and we should definitely stay the night cuz im sure as hell not driving down to houston and back in one freakin day! BTW is it possible to post about Texas meets in other forums cuz i know quite a few people from texas either don't know about the texas forum or dont bother to go in it and we need to get their asses to the meet too! But Im game for whatever as long as there is a big turnout!

um, just put down stage7 instead of fiji-steve, xtreme2k2civic and me... we'll have about 15 peeps there. makes it a bit easier, and we dont really need an attendance sheet or anything.... lol

Not that me living in Austin has anything to do with it,....but I think the meet should be in Austin,..kind of a midpoint from everywhere else,..but hey, just a suggestion
