TO EVERYONE WITH LOWERED CARS:
I'm pretty familiar with the components on our cars but can I ask what a "core support" is? I've got my car about 2" off the ground (exhaust pipe to ground). I've only hit the pipe a few times however there have been a few times that I thought I hit the chassis. I haven't incurred any major damage that I'm aware of.
Have you damaged something because of your car being lowered?

Yeah, whats a core support. The lowest thing under my chassis is the exhausht pipe, from the cat to the resonator. I've scraped it a couple times on some driveways, but thats it. My ride is about 3 inches from ground to the pipe.
haven't hit the radiator core support yet. I'd probably rip my front chin spoiler off my car if that did happen. VTECnique, your car must be slammed. I cannot afford to go any lower as I'd have no suspension travel at all. As it is, I might have an inch of travel in the front and a few in the back but not much. Pretty bouncy in the back but not too bad in the front. WEIRD!

Surprisingly enough, I only blew 1 strut. I slammed the car about 2-2 1/4" all the way around. The ride isn't too bad cuz I have stock wheel/tire diameter.

Speaking of ripped rubber chins, Mine was ripped today while driving up the unplowed high driveway of mine after a couple inches of snow. I was in school so it didn't have time to plow it today Took me a while to fix it and it was soooo FREKKEN COLD. There was ice stuck in the crevices where the rubber chin is inserted so i had to use a blowdryer to melt that ice... That was miserable. Im gonna plow my driveway now.
Everyone else plow their driveways.

This is a good question... i want to know how often you guys scratch the ground in your cars... my g/f's apartment is up a hil and I am scared if I lower the car I'll scratch all the time... roads aren't that perfect and what about when you encounter speed bumps and parking blocks...
I dont want to do something to my car thats gonna tear it all to hell but it sure does look good!!

I ****ed up my radiator core support and I wanted fix it because I jacked it up in the wrong place.
now its bent, can I just use a sledge hammer to take that dent out and fix the bars its not that bad you can hardly notice it, you can only see the hood with the latch was effected by it.

haha i did that too! i used a mallet and beat the f**k outa it itll the hood sit right. I would suggest using a thick piece of wood though before you do that to even out the hits.
That Xenon kit looks tigt as hell slammed to the ground! i think im gonna need a new body kit soon hehe...

Imma try that I tried using a metal baseball bat and it didn't do jack. Ill probably gonna fix my car tomorrow considering I got brembo brake rotors for 80 bucks and my aem pads for 50 bucks good deal. Ill have to look for some wood though. The problem is that the dent is under the radiator which I believe I need to remove the radiator because the hoses on it are like really hard metal I didn't want to break anything so I stopped.
