GT-S vs IS300

GT-S vs IS300
we ran my celica against an IS300 equally modded on a top end run just to see what would happen.
2000 celica gts 6spd
my mods - all stock except removed muffler.
2003 lexus IS300 5spd
his mods - custom exhaust.
top speed on both was 150 mph. but the IS did win by about 1/2 car.
from 50mph - 120mph I was a lil bit ahead
from 120 - 150mph he slowly inched his way up 1/2 a car and we stayed like that for about 10-12 seconds of holding 150 mph.
neither of us could go any faster so we shut down. was a pretty good even race IMO.
I do think that had I not had the body kit and big wing the race woulda been a lil more in my favor but I wanted to see ho wthe car would do as is.
battery was dead on my camcorder so we didnt get any vids this time.
he also has a 1200 lbs civic hatch with a built B16 so I will try to get a video of that one next time it's running. cant go from a stop cause it runs low 12's

my car is back to stock right now cause I don't drive it often. it spends alot of time either down or at the shop cause I use my car as the prototype for a lot of different companies. all of which require it to be stock. for now I spend most my time in the civic too bad it's auto though lol
