Acura beatings
This is inspired by S2000man01s post about his rental.
I work for a Honda/Acura dealership... so every now and then I have to put gas in some of the cars I sell becuase they were test driven or traded from another dealer, etc. So one time this summer I was waiting at a red light with music blasting on my way to the gas station in a MDX. Some jerk in a 350Z (this is a different car than my last run in I posted) yells over "Hows Mom's Acura drive?"
I do my best to give him the Vin Diesel, trying to make him laugh. I also switch off the VSA and slip it into neutral. He is revving and inching, etc. I powerbrake to pre-load the torque converter just a second before the light turned green.
Beleive it or not, the 265hp MDX had enough ***** to spin the rears and chirp the fronts. He never saw it coming. I was 3 car lengths ahead by the time he did his fly-by.

And for everyone who cares, I'm not a complete *****, I only really beat on our demo cars... not cars that we plan to sell. I don't even drive them fast or recklessly just for that reason, but as in all things there is inevitably an exception. LOL... although the one in this story was being picked up by a customer that day. I never claimed to be an angel
I think it is kinda hipacritical to tell him you dont want to buy a car thats been launched(its an auto i dought it even hurt it) when your brousing the track/street/strip form and get off on stories about racing so that means you probaly do the same **** in your cars everyday I know I do. I dont condone dealerships beating on cars but the 350z guy seemed like a *** so it had to be done.
Of all the SUVs I've ever had the infortuity to drive, I think I rank the MDX above the best, next to maybe an X3/X5 (haven't ever had a chance to drive any Porsche SUVs to date, anyone wanna lend me theirs?). It has a nice smooth ride, responsive engine, nice interior ammenities and not to mention the fact that it won't break down like half the GM SUVs on the road.
