A: Loudspeaker Design Cookbook

Should make for some interesting conversation... when it arrives that is

I am doing a project for school and could use some good books and didn't find any in the library so I just bought this one because I figured it would be a neat thing to have anyway

when you say cookbook, do you mean it's one of those books that just gives you a bunch of pre-designed stuff to choose from?

ie. a programming cookbook usually just gives you bits and pieces of prewritten code to use...

I have that book, Dickason, 6th ed. I'd a pretty intense book, imo, nice for HT speaker building, very interesting atleast, I dunno if you're a beginner or anything like that, but there are other books i like more for more beginner speaker builders.

I'm not a beginner, however I am not advanced. I REALLY needed a book to cite for my research on this project so I am hoping that this will be a start

Any sites you guys might have on subwoofer design (the more reputable the better) I would appreciate the information

not as well as I hoped... i did get it to work but it seemed like it wanted to do things its way and not mine... like I dont remember it letting me put in specs for the specific box I wanted or anything, maybe it was just me

I found another like free one. But it didnt really do much. it was pretty much pointless.
