OEM sideskirts vs RS sideskirts
hey guys,
I still can't see what's the difference between US OEM sideskirts and JDM RS sides?
is there really any difference between these two?

and yes,... i did search and found nothing

OEM side skirts kind of twist up at the end. RS are just straight (plain).

according to my dealership, OEM sides are only for the coupe. with the way they told me this, it almost seemed that i would have to force them to sell them to me. (besides, i wouldn't buy from the dealership anyways!!!)

that grey civic might have oem sides on , ...can't really tell from that pic.

Oem = Twisted a little in the end
RS= Straight

also, oem sides are a LITTLE bit bigger than RS sides.

The black sides that you posted are RS sides. They're just straight (plain).
As for the grey civic, I think they look like OEM sides... but i'm not sure. Since that's a JDM RS Civic, i would assume that it would have RS sides ..... I'm confused about that one also.

I'm not sure if the type-r's and the RS's are the same as well. Do you have pictures of the Type-R sides? Maybe that'll help.

CivicPesek, i noticed that you have a JDM RS theme going on. It looks good. RS Grille, and JDM mirrors. Good choice to go w/ the RS lip kit!

OEM side skirt is offered by the dealer in canada, in 2002 there was a civic trim called "civic LX-sport" and it has the oem lip kits.

you're gonna have issues trying to fit the RS ones. My friend bought 'em and they didn't fit that well. I would stay away from those. Go with OEM.
