Silver civic coupe driver side door, where to get?
I got a quote from the body shop about fixing the left side of my car (there is a huge scrape - from hit and run - on the whole side of the driver's door, and it leads onto the rear quater panel, but that I can live with, the door, no.
anyone know where I can buy a painted silver driver's side door for the coupe? or konw some1 who want to get rid of theirs what some odd reason? ^_^
all help is appreciated

You could try www.car-parts.com . You might be able to find it there.
I recomend posting a photo of the damage. It might be repairable for the same price it would be to skin a door. I used to do estimates and body work and no body man likes doing door skins, they hate it actually. Especially on a coupe. Its impossible to make money off of it considering the time it takes.
don't try to repair your door if its badly damaged. If you do it, it will look good for a while but give it a couple of years and you'll be able to tell that the door was damaged. There's usually flaking and discoloration that makes it obvious. The door won't be the same again. Plus your car is new and it will be hard to find the door at a junkyard.
You don't have much option when these sort of things happen. You'll have to buy a door from a body shop and get it painted. You'll spend a lot on fixing it but it will be worth it.

i saw the breakdown of the charges, and the guy must've thought I'm some ****ing n00b, cause there were labors chargers for like "removal of gas door x 1hr" and "installing gas door x 1hr" but I didn't say ****, I was sooo dissappointed in ppl's business these days, I just said thanks for your time, and walked off...but omfg, I can't believe how these companies try to rip if off these days.
anyway, thanks alot for all your help. i'm waiting for a response from a couple local salvage yards...
oh, getting a brand new door frmo honda would cost around 500-700 (unpainted) and asking around, a paint job for a f*cking door is like 300+ so the total is gonna run 800-1000 for the whole repair, that's not including transfering all the mechanical/electrical stuff from the old door to the new one. I'm sooo screwd...may as well leave it...
LOL www.hondaautomotiveparts.com has it.. i need it too... the skin i mean

In some cases the fuel door has to be R&Ied but not for that much. If the repairs are done correct and preped properly in a few years there will be no flakes, its called cheap paint with chemicals still in the base, or not properly preped, even a half *** autobody tech. A lot of body shops will warrenty their work for life, not hard to find one.
I'll break this down for you, atleast on the door I have no idea how bad the quater is.
All of my part prices and labor/rates are based on CCC Pathways which is what a large amount of Insurance companies use for estimates. Labor rate for this is $36 an hour which is almost average.
Door shell:
$509.98 for shell
4 hours body labor. This includes the majority of the transfers from door to
door = $144
3.1 hours paint labor, this is just for the door to be painted = $111.60
Total of labor/part charges = 765.58
Door skin:
$213.39 for skin
5 hours body labor = $180
2.1 paint labor = $75.60
Total of labor/part charges = $468.99
Repair existing:
5-6 hours repair (I say this because you said the metal reinforcement in the door isn't damaged in your opinion. So it can't be too bad) = $180 / $216
2.1 paint labor = $75.60
Total Labor charges for door = $255.60 / $291.60
Also factory paint materials for all three which shouldn't be more the $80
Any questions IM/PM me or post here
