something interesting about our cars

today i was driving and the i started hearing something hitting my tire really hard then the black plastic guard thing under the bumper flew off my car . anyways, then i noticed that my right blinker on the dash was blinking really fast whenever i used it... and the left blinker was normal. I never really paid attention to it, so i wondered if my right blinkers were blinking fast too. So i came home and indeed they were! Then i noticed that my front right blinker bulb had fell out of the plug. So i had to take my whole bumper off and the headlight and put it back in! then all the blinker things were normal i guess!!!

to make a short story shorter.. if your blinker bulb falls out of the socket the blinker on the dash will blink really fast!

it does that when your bulb needs to be replaced as well.

This is normal on a lot of cars.

that is normal on every car.

Also why did you take your bumper off to fix it? You could have just lifted back the wheel well guards and did it.

That's due to the capacitor and resistor on the blinker unit. With only one bulb in parallel, the capacitor charges and discharges twice as fast as normal.

It will only blink when your turn signal goes out.....it won't do it with your headlight....
