won't say where in Oakland, but does anybody go to these? me and a few people went last night but as soon as we got there the cops were kicking everyone out. there were probably around 200+ modified cars in the area, it was crazy. has anyone had any bad experiences with going there? or know anyone that has?

too hot. i think thier were many accidents in the past weeks and major injuries which got cops securing the place even more. people get shot, kids run into poles n ****, etc.

check out the sro forums, theirs like a thread thats 30 pages based on the oak runs in the past.

never heard of the oak races???? man, they've been around forever.... the meet up spots just change... but the strip is the same.... just like in tracy.... lol cops show up and 15 minutes the 200+ cars are at the same spot.... and if u think thats stupid, they actually get away with it cuz the cops figure they cant get everyone so u actually get a few races in.

obviously no one is gonna post the meet up spots..... but sometimes u find chicks there..... some even drive clean cars... a few years ago some blond chick used to show up w/ her modded GSR. she would kill some guys in it too.

yeah, i'm not going to post spots down even though the cops know where most people hang out, but you know how it goes.
anyways, i think i'm going with a lot of people this saturday, so if ANYONE wants to go PM me and we'll all meet up at one place and kick it for a while. i'll be checking to see if there is any spot an exit or two away from the races.

i only thought they had side shows in oakland, didnt know they had races. i'd never go though, thats like the murder capitol of CA dude, nothing good comes out of oakland...its the bay areas armpit.

^LOL true. their are mostly side shows in oakland, but those are diff spots of oakland. ppl who do the side shows also come up to the strip and ruin it for the rest of the ppl who are trying to have a good race. damn minorities

yeah..... they used to have it on weekends.... but then all the dumbasses would come out and ruin it.... so they started doin it on weekdays.... some fast cars out there.... theres a silver evo lowered on some polished/chrome rims... FAST AS HELL!!
