FS: K20A2..thats right

Wuts up fellas

Im selling a K20A2 Longblock.

This includes head, oilpan, valve cover. I have to check up with the shop for the full inventory of what parts are included, but basicallly anything that youd REALLY need is included as you can use the a3 intake manifold and Tb if i cant find them. The motor was originally overrevved by a type s and i have it now. The head need about 300 dollars of machining. (thats what ive been quoted, you can probably get it done cheaper if you know a shop really well) and the block needs two fresh pistons. It needs 8 valves i believe, but those are cheap. The motor is completely apart and will be shipped that way. Its easier to replace the missing parts that way anyway. The motor has approx 36k orginal miles. The actual block itself is in great condition, just needs to be cleaned up since its been chilling collecting dust for a while. Comes with balanced crank, oil squirters, and all that jazz :mangel: .

heres the deal. I want 1500 + shipping OBO. Feel free to PM me with offers and such. I wanted to build it up for boost, but ive decided to go a different direction. Sooooo, im passing up this great deal for you guys.

heres a couple of pics. Notice the welds on the head. They were professionally done by a well known shop here in florida. The head is FULLY REPAIRABLE.

The head looks really damaged in this pic, but remember its has welds on it to ease in the process of machining. The actual damage was SMALL, but the welds help make the head easier to machine. Ive been quoted for about 300 to get it fixed...I have no hook ups so you can probably get it done alot cheaper. I have more pics if needed.

heres a picture of the pretty valvetrain

let me know if your interested guys...I was going to build this up, but i dont want to go k20a2 boost stage 2 The block is BEGGING to be put to use again. I just dont have the time/money to go through with my original plans

I love how you put the piston with the giant valve imprint down and it looks like you didnt even bother to clean the metal shavings out. Not showing a good pic of the cam damage that was probly done to it when the piston shoved it back through was iceing on the cake. all in all its a nice k20a2 paper weight

There is no damage done to the cams. I have more pics. Those who show any interested will get them

If you read the post instead of just looking at the picture youll notice that I mention everything(everything major) that is needed to make this head/block work again.

I bought this motor to build it up for boost. Its not meant to be str8 swapped in. Its more for people who want to do a whole overhaul and need a block, head, and block internals to start out with. Building this motor to stock specs would be idiotic, its already opened up and needs replacements, might as well let them be upgrades.

Keep the bandwagon hate coming tho

The block is fine, just needs to be cleaned. If i was trying to scam you guys i would have not posted pictures of the actual block/head.

the head is perfectly repairable, ive been quoted at under 400 for the repair by a reputable shop in florida

NOTICE THE WELDS

Thats not DAMAGE, its welds to ease in the machining process. The actual damage was much smaller.

W/E i posted it on here to see if any of you d17 guys wanted to upgrade. My mechanic offerred me some money for it, but i wanted to see if any of you guys wanted it.

Just because you dont have the resources/tools/knowledge to fix this engine doesnt mean it cannot be done. Its begging to be built for boost.

obviously we have more knowledge than u or ur shop, bc u dont take a POS like that and make it work, it causes problems later, GTFO

by the way, if u USE ERL performance to do ur work, then i think u need to rethink ur statements, bc they do good ****, and smashing a valve into ur piston and screwing the head up isnt as easy a fix as just welding and machining

exactly dude, thanks for backing me up man.

if i wanted to scam some guys i wouldnt have posted pics of it.

Its fully repairable.

Like i said...ITS NOT A MOTOR TO JUST SWAP IN. Its meant to be worked on and built again. Its perfect for someone who wants to build a boost motor. Thats why i bought it in the first place.

i dunno wtf is your problem C2i0v0i1C, im not forcing you to buy it. Its a project motor, not a str8 swap.
