Hows the Exedy compared to ACT clutch? I hear ACT is better? You can almost guarantee that I will buy one in a week or so when I get my money Deposited from taxes. I need a new clutch and lightened flywheel. Any nitrous specials on wet kits if I buy one at the same time?

Honestly I really like Exedy. The Exedy organic clutch for the D17 increases torque capacity by 69% over stock. For the money, you really can't beat Exedy.

I can definitely put a nice deal together with the nitrous kit for you. PM me when you are ready

How is the durability of the stock vs the exedy and how is the best way to know if you F'd up your clutch and may need a new one?

New to standard I cant tell if its broken in or if it is worn.

The Exedy can handle much more abuse than your stock clutch. If your clutch is slipping then you need to replace it soon. You can feel it slip when shifting quite easily.

Engagement will be much faster with any aftermarket clutch. So much better than the stock engagement.

Will be a change in what all I need. I have decided on turbo, so I will just be ordering the clutch. I dont need a new flywheel do I? Just replace the old clutch and it can handle the hp w/o anything else? Give me a week or two, I will need one pretty soon for sure, and thats a good deal. Any tires at SLP? I need a good deal on 205-45-17. Ill look at tirerack probably. Ill PM you when ready, thanks!

Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
my 2nd gear slips like a **** and grinds on high rpm shifts. will the clutch fix this problem or is it my syncrhos that are messed. If so Im going to get a new transmission with the clutch flywheel kit. Im going to get the clutch kit real soon. Let me know if you will still have it in a month or so.

Grinding isnt the clutch unless it's not engaging and you are trying to shove it in gear. I'd start by replacing the clutch and see if it solves the problem.

How many miles do you have on your vehicle? If over 40-50k I'd recommend replacing or resurfacing the flywheel. The Exedy can handle the power you will be making boosted. We have tires just send a PM with what you need

205/40/17 Kumho 711's. Gotta be under 75-80 shipped though a piece, cuz I may be getting a good deal on some tires. I only need 2, since my front ones arent bad at all, so Ill just throw them on the rear, and the new ones on the front.

My car has about 90,000 miles on it. So I guess the flywheel does at least need resurfacing in the least. I may replace it. I should get my money in the next few days here. Ill let you know when/what i need sometime this week. Thanks a lot!

I have a specific date of the 18th that they say it will be in my account. Finally processed it, but Fri is when they come. I am getting too excited here. So in 2 days I will be ordering my stuff. Maybe the clutch as well. I may wait a week on the clutch, we'll see. So is the final price like 2550 or 2580 shipped? Or whats up? It was 2630 something at needboost.com after shipping. Just wondering, cuz the cheaper that is, the sooner I'll be getting a clutch

Peace

the bank is being bastards. I waited on the line for about 15 minutes, than they said they will call me back and not lose my place in line, when the first rep is available. So I did that, they called me back, my cell rang like 2 times. I answered and they hung up. So in about 20 minutes hopefully less I will know. I was staring at my phone for like a 15 minute drive. than the sec i get out of my car, i put it in my pocket, lit a cig and i heard the phone. I tried to hard to get it out and than they hun gup. bastards. ill get back at ya soon though. i will go to the bank if I have to, so definately today Im gonna want it ordered.

It is good that nobody can use my card in another state if it happened to get stolen.
