What next???
What next???
I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX. It's got a Tseudo Catback Exhaust and an AEM V2 intake. The engine type is a D17A2. I'm not even sure how much that matters or whether it's a good engine to work with or not. I guess what I'm wondering is what should I do next? I guess I planned on starting with other bolt ons for now and see how I feel after they're all done. Where should I start??
. A clutch flywheel combo if its a stick. Long tube header/random technologies CAT. Still Wont be much. Most other bolt ons are a waste of time and money. Rule of thumb for D17s anything cheap or easy will not yeild much HP at all. If you dont want to rip the car apart and spend a good amout of time tuning dont even start spending money on these motors. They are good dependable motors but you will get out on the road/track racing and be thoroughly dissapointed without really getting involved for at least $4k or more. That, I have learned for personally experience. Everyone has pretty hardcore cars around here though so its all up to you.
headers will complete yur I/H/E setup. but 02fpcivic is right bolt ons wont yeild much power for u. but its yur car, do what you want. i just like getting under my hood and under the car and taking $hit apart and putting better things on....its just fun to me whether or not i get good gains.
