I The Only K20a2 Powered Civic In Mi ??!

Will i be the only k20a2 powered civic in Michigan?

My swap is going in during the spring break! The collection of parts has been completed. I have the 200 hp motor, 6 speed tranny, hasport motor mounts, and all the other goods to swap. It is going to be fast compared to my shitty auto.

Setup will go in with DC race header, hondata intake manifold gasket, Cold air intake, 22mm rear sway bar, and JDM 6spd shift ****.

If anyone in Michigan has done the swap, let me know

Got it for $3000 off ebay with all accessories, harness, subframe, linkages, axles, shifter, clutch pedal and lines, and stock exhaust.

I went to Atlanta where teh motor was to pick it up and to inspect everything. A good place to get the motor is from car-parts.com.

The axles wont work but i took them anyways to sell. I Jsut picked up the the Si ones locally the other day for $200.

The hasport mounts were a big hit, 485 off this site(reg. 599). But if you plan on doing the swap, get a hold of me. I have a MUCH more economic way to get the motor mounted in reliably. Just make sure you get the stock rsx mounts (left, right, front and rear) with the motor.

If you are going to do the swap, im willing to answer any questions. Im pretty much a k20a2 guru now. Ive dont a LOT of reasearch on it.

so your car was an auto to start with? This is excatly what I want to do to my car. Also I was under the impression that the RSX axles worked if you do a five lug conversion. Corrcet me if im wrong, I'm just trying to get as much info i can. Please keep us updated.

Yes teh axles work with the 5 lug conversion however you need get teh whole suspension becsuse itd kinda be a pain having front 5 lug and rear 4 lug. Unless you swap the rear too.

In my case, i already have the rear disc setup from the SI. Looks Pimp. And i already have my 17's as 4 lug. So for me just not worth it. I just picked up SI axles for my swap.

Yeah, and going from auto to 6 speed,, dammn its gonna be fun. Just got a rear 22mm JDM swaybar in today. And my subframe came witht the stock rsx-s front sway bar. So im gonna take those corners at BMW speeds.

Ok that makes sense. How does putting in the clutch pedal work? Like do you have to cut a hole or something? Sorry for all the questions but like I said what your doing is excatly what I want to do. And if you need an extra pair of hands I'm willing to help. That way I can see whats really involved.

someone should do a k24 in a 7thgen. those things are dirt cheap and lots of torque.
