Smoked Taillights

Im thinking of smoking my 03 tail lights but im afraid how it would turn out... can ya post some pic's of somked tail lights, if u have em. and give me wat u think of them too. also what kind of tint ya got, dark...limo..light...etc.

i was strongly considering it a while back. i bought 2 cans of that expensive a$$ tinting spray from summit racing, never used them once. I used other cans, did test runs, etc... Its just too risky doing it yourself. go get it done professionally, or consider professionally installed tint film instead.

yea there's a DIY and i've done it. i love the way it turned out although if you look very closely you can see some imperfections...but i think my car even looks lower with the smoked tails!

mine came out well. it wasnt hard to do at all. i used NightShades to tint them. it leaves a dull finish tho and i dont like the way it looks. once the spring comes around im gonna go a little darker and also put a clear coat on it to make it glossy.

I c, i never said that i was gonna do it myself...id just said how would the lights looked if it was smoked...my car is silver though, wonder how'd it turn out if i did it
