Hey I got a black 2001 Civic Coupe, and I was thinking of putting on the carbon fiber "vader" hood...but I'm not sure if I like the way the CF looks on black cars, I mean I think its ok but I'd like some feedback on it.

cf hoods on black cars arent that noticeable which some ppl might favor for and not. its personally opinion and what i think is cf hoods look great on almost any colored car. just that black cars dont show it off as much as if it were on white/blue/silver/etc.
are you mainly doing it for show or lightweight?

Giving your hood a nose is just plain silly looking.

I love the look of that hood...I considered getting one myself. Look around in the galleries, someone is bound to have a black car with a hood. I havta agree though, if you got an evo style hood with a silver mesh for the little scoop or whatever you wanna call it, that would look pretty cool

What's up Shakespeare? Yeah that CF hood would look cool on black, but I think you still have to run hood pins, think about it.

Wow thanks everybody, I really needed the input so yeah big thanks! The reason I didn't want the EVO hood, even though I must agree its tight as hell, is that being in the Bay Area we have a lot of wet weather. If I have the invader hood I can park my car uphill and avoid the water getting into my engine and soaking my SRI cuz of the way the hood is shaped. I was thinking about buying the same hood in fiber glass so I can have it painted but I think it might actually look better in CF. I dunno...to answer the 707 question, I'm from Vallejo. So yeah thanks everyone and if anyone else has opinons keep them coming cuz I haven't bought anything yet lol.
