Almost made a new member today There's really no point to this but, i'm pretty much the only person with a modified 7thgen on the eastern coast of NC, let alone boosted! Every once in a great while i'll see a 7thgen with a body kit, exhaust, rims, etc. And i'll pull up to them and say whats up and tell them about the site. I was cruisin along today and came across a NICE slammed red 7thgen coupe with a body kit. I was in a turning lane behind traffic and this civic went by on the street i was about to turn onto. Anyways, light turns green and i haul *** to catch up. Pulled up beside him with a nice PSSSSSHHHH 
The universal "what you got?" I pointed towards a side road and we both turned off. I slowed down and he shoots on past me. I'm like WTF? I just wanna talk, haha. Anyways i drop it in second and i'm back on his tail in no time of course. The road we're on is known for its cops that love to speed trap people, so anyways i'm right behind him again (he's WOT, i'm at 1/4 throttle @ 3psi 
Then all of a sudden, "TTTSSSSHHHZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" NITROUS!!!!! I didn't even bother. The road we were on is 45mph and the cops around here are BAD on speeding. I lost two things today: I lost the opportunity to race a juiced 7thgen and the opportunity to bring a new member onto the boards.

Rep Power: 286 Sorry if i can't re-enact the sound that greatly, no it wasn't a purge. He was running WOT, then KOOOOSSSSHH, he was flying. Don't treat me like a friggin nitrous n00b! I've ran 30 and 60 shots (edelbrock w/ NX stage II upgrade kit, custom purge, bottle warmer, etc.) on my last civic. I've ran n2O and boost, and i prefer boost. I'm currently trying to complete my engine build (JE Pistons, crower rods, PnP head, Nippon leakless HG, APR headstuds, etc) and turbo swap (GT28RS w/ larger intercooler, RC 440's, e-manage, etc) What's a bottle got on that? 
p.s.- Don't pull any K series crap on me. If i really wanted a k, i would have already gotten one. Why cheat like that? If you've forgotten, the biggest thing behind modifying at the start (old school civics, etc) was to take something slow, and make it quick. That's what i'm trying to do. the d series is honda's black sheep, yes, that's exactly why i'm sticking with it.
The civic is my daily commuter, my race car is a blown Super B.........talk about some titanium *****

Rep Power: 0 Sorry bro, didnt mean to offend you, but I've rode in boosted cars before and it doesnt impress me enough to jump on the bandwagon for the d series. Everyone makes a big deal about it and wants to think that it owns all and that really isnt true. If you take the Dseries and plan a build up tailored for nitrous of course, you're gonna have a faster car running nitrous considering that both will still be limited as far as boost and shot levels go. Thats just my opinion. Anyway this is your thread and I'm not about to hijack it again. Nice vid you made in the other thread btw.
