which tire should I buy

hey all, I'm buying a new set of rims in a couple months, I know I'm buying 17 inch, so I need some advice for which brand of tire I should get, I know I'm getting 205/40/17, but I want something that's good handling and quite, that's the two most important part for me, any suggestions?...

I'm partial to the Toyo FZ4 Proxes.......quiet, handle well, and good for all-weather performance (excluding the snow!!).

Well for a low price and some decent performance try the Yokohama Avid H4 or V4 or the Kumho Ecsta 712 ....both tires have good wet and dry performance, good treadware, and a low price....I'd go for the Yokohama...but the Kumho are a very highly reccomended tire as well

Went with a set of Yokohama Paradas myself, in 205/40/17. They aren't here yet, but owners I know with them have nothing but praise for them.

go to tirerack.com to compare, u prolly will look at the ultra high performance tires part(summer tire section), for decent price, go with kuhmo, it got the highest rating on almost everything, dry traction/wet traction/steering response/treadwear, some others i dont remember, and its the cheapest if not, almost cheapest in the ultra high performance category, i'd go for kuhmo, but one thing, the tire does not look good as yokohama tires, but who cares, it perform good and save u some money
