there was a vid a while back with a srt-4, evo 8, and sti driving at night. evo 8 cornered better, and sti was faster. srt-4 just sucked in comparison. so funny these neon owners think they are cool but after about 75,000 miles we will probably see alot of dead srt-4's.
obviously i hate these things.

I really don't get a kick out of vids made Michael Moore style.
Thats still pretty good for a four banger...but in reality, FWD will never have an advantage over RWD or AWD...sorry guys.

oh yea? haha.... there was a vid a while back... that i recorded.. of my friends srt 4 (new off lot) vs an evolution (new off lot) driving at night, the evo might have cornered better (who knows, it was drag race) but the srt-4 won the initial straight-line race in every gear. and with respect to the evolution owner, the race was good fun. there was no conflict, or exchanging of immature, child like comments from driver to driver.
its so funny you people try to critisize the whole of all dodge srt-4 owners, or the whole of ANY brand name car owner, because of the actions of a few immature children. and then, when some domestic owner does it to an import owner, everyone is all up in arms about it. Look,
i think it is unwise to hate on dodge owners, or rather, owners of ANY car, in spite of the actions of a few select individuals. sure, nice video, but i don't think it's right to have this serve as reasonable evidence that all dodge srt-4 owners are, quote:" cocky." Trust me, the cocky ones will get theirs. SRT-4's sure do have their share of defected cars, but they do deserve minimal respect for the awesome power they come with from the factory. Because no matter how many power window defects or speaker blow outs that a dodge neon SRT-4 might have, it still displaces 2,429cc, while a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution displaces an impressive, but still smaller 1997cc.
One particular defect I would like to point out with srt-4's, its quite funny. I know 5 people who own srt-4's around here. and every single one of them (1 stage 3 srt-4, another blue, a red, silver and a black one) all had longer exhaust tubing on the RIGHT side (longer, i mean by at least half an inch up to 3/4 inch difference between the left and right!) very ghetto.
obviously i hate these things."

second, get out of the srt4's pants. my initial post, didn't say "all srt4 owners die!", it says "cocky srt4 owners die!". Which means it is directed towards that cocky srt4 owners, not "all" srt4 owners. and if you tell me that the majority of srt4 owners aren't cocky, you have a lot to learn.
••""first of all, what IDIOT is going to push their car to the max straight off the lot. the car has NOT gone through it's break-in period and it WILL perform poorly in comparison to one that has gone through it. if the guys did push it straight off the lot, they're ****ing idiots"
>>Uh, First of all, the srt-4 has a break in period of 300 miles.
the srt-4 had around 466 something miles when we raced. it was broken in.
>>>Second of all, the mitubishi lancer evolution was also broken in. It had over 1500 on it,
how do I know? i asked the guy. Both cars were practically brand new off the lot, neither had plates yet. And i'm almost positive the break in period on those is either 1000 miles or 1500 or something.

>>Uh.. I know you didnt say "all srt4 owners die?", i know what your post said. In fact, I wasn't even referring to you buddy. I was referring to the comments nick and diskreet said, because it holds no ground. to be more specific:
diskreet: "so funny these neon owners think they are cool but after about 75,000 miles we will probably see alot of dead srt-4's."
>>>>>Yeah, let's assume that ALL neon owners think they're cool, and after 75,000 miles their car is guaranteed to break down.
nickm748:"Thats the **** that pisses me off, I hate people like that, Especially SRT-4 owners. I hope ur dad tooled on him with his s2000."
>>>>>>Yeah, because SRT-4 owners in general act like the guy did in the video. ALL OF THEM!! I know, because everyone that has ever bought an srt-4, i know!
oh and by the way, you are a hipocrite. When you said "Get ouf of the srt-4's pants". and then again when you said "And if you tell me that the majority of srt4 owners aren't cocky, you have alot to learn".
>>Because you know the majority of SRT-4 owners right? Do you know the majority of srt4 owners? because I know 5 of them around here. Does this mean im biased? No. Does this mean I KNOW MORE THAN YOU? maybe, i mean it sure seems like it. How many srt-4's have you raced or run into on the streets, and actually talked to them, and got to know them? Well?
Don't get me wrong, honda is #1, but misinformation is #100
