vacuum and idle

i tried searching and i found that the computer must relearn everything?....also my vacuum is playing around 10-20 hg/mm(50-65kpa)

should i let the car learn again or do i still have vacuum leaks? ignition(it also could make the vacuum erratic)/misfire?

i don't a check engine light on so......am kinda lost though......

and yeah i blew my intake manifold before so i changed manifold and new gaskets on the intake side inc. the map sensor.....

i'd appreciate any opinions on what i got in my hand....thanks in advance.....

start over..... what happened to your car, and what did you replace? and now the issure you are having is a low vacuum rate? (10-20hg/mm.... is this during closed loop or open loop... idle... full throttle, etc)

i replaced my intake manifold(from blowing it up) and the base plate injector gasket along w/ all gaskets at the intake side.....

now am having an erratic vacuum reading along w/ surging rpm's(650-1500 +/-)

what would have gone wrong?

robo1040 will become famous soon enough
i have no idea what happened in the first place, but if your saying you "blew up" your intake mani then you might have some other problems from the origional problem that cause it to blow. what was it a nitrous miss or somthing? there isnt much there to not hook up right that would cause the surging and weird vaccume reading, make sure the gasket went on straight, ive messed one of thoes up before, make sure injectors and everything is tight and in place, btw, what was the problem in the first place?

ohh yeah, and if your having this problem right after doing to work on it, it might be normal, after i did my head gasket my car took about a half hour of driving and idleing to finally start working right, i had a idle/stalling problem

yeah double check your hose connections, gaskets, etc, and try resetting your ecu. then drive it a bit and the ecu may simply have to re-learn.
