Tokico w/ stock springs questions....

I have 37K miles on my 02 civic and i just noticed that my two front struts are starting to leak. I'm planning on replacing the struts with Tokico HPs with the oem springs since i don't want to lower the car (crappy roads where i live). I have two questions:

1.) Are the tokicos with oem springs going to make a significant difference in ride quality, ie. harshness? I don't want my car to be any 'harsher' than it is stock.

2.) How durable are the tokico's? Has anyone had their's blow? (I noticed on their webpage that they only have a 1 year warrantee)

thanks.

Cubanmike26 has those lowered on eibach sportlines.

He says feeling is like stock in terms of ride softness. Less body roll, and less movement when you hit a bump.

I'm getting the tokicos myself.

I wouldnt get the tokicos unless you are going drop . Mainly because the shocks are rated for a drop over 1.5 inches

I have neuspeed sports and blues . ride is stiffer than stock and handles about 50x better

how durable are the tokicos? I'm planning on keeping my civic for the long haul and i don't really want to replace struts again...considering i'm having to replace the stupid stock ones after only 37K miles.

they are much better shocks than oem shocks, it'll last you long if you don't plan on lowering ur car.

Why wouldnt they be a good OEM replacement? Thats what theyre designed for I believe. Since he's not dropping his car, they'd be a perfect replacement, much better then OEM.

get the tokicos you'll be fine. The handling will be better than stock and you will not have to worry about the crappy stock shocks / struts going bad.

But if the shocks / struts and the car suspesion was never messed with then have the dealer fix them under warrenty and save your money.
