My friend has a 95 Honda Civic dx and my other friend has the same but 97 last night they raced and the 95 got excellent starts and shifts and still lost pretty bad and he has an intake, spark wires, and cats removed but no exhaust should this have happened cause the 97 was pretty dam quick compared to the 95

not really i mean if there both 5 speeds they have the same d15 engines. so it shoulda been pretty close maybe the guy in the 95 couldn't drive.

either the driver or the condition of either cars.

IE: the 95 could've had a worn clutch for example.

Well he beat us pretty bad it was amazing to me and he can drive good they both can equal drivers good starts good shifts

i agree. slow races are fun just because i know i cant afford a fast car lol. but if u think about it, if someone ***** up, it wouldn't be like 50x the damage as if it were a viper racing since that thing is so dam quick.
faster car > higher speeds within time > accident > critical damage. thats IF
slow car > not so high speed > accident > major damage
