it's kinda hard to use but like anything, in time you'll get used to it. I haven't used in some time now but hopefully they improved the percussion sounds..lol

pro tools from what i see alot. i dont know off hand but there allways comeing out with new plug-ins. its also recomended it be used on a mac gay! but i use it on my pc. my freind is showing me a couple of basic things cut, paste, editing, clean up, **** like that.

ick..I read about that recomendation too but I ignored it..lol. I usually sample in my guitar riffs alot and stuff....like doing house too.

sounds like the motherboard is taking a **** on you. AMD K6 :hump:
im thinking of getttig a like a used g4 dump it out, max out the ram on it and that should work just fine. ugh i just hate mac's.
im thinking of building a new pc also will see wich way i go. like something with 2gig ram and iish.
i get to use it on a g5. when i go to my friends studio, man its so sweet and quick no lagg time at all.

ya that's what I thought. My machine likes to randomly reboot as well which led me to believe one of the fans is cooked but I don't care anymore..lol
When I used fruity loops on it the machine just went into a slow crawl and gave everything it had to the app and nothing else.
I would love to build a dedicated box for just such things so I can keep my working PC for everything else.
