silicone...
the clear head light DIY requires silicone, and saids kitchen clear.. well.. i couldn't find kitchen clear, they were all bright white or white, i got General Electronics Windows Clear silicone, is that still okay for the headlights?

Should be good enough....just make sure the Silicone you get is not LATEX based...that stuff take about 2 weeks to cure.....If it does not smell like vinnegar when you use it you have the wrong stuff.....if you want more of the black stuff ( called " bear $hit" in the industry) go to a shop that installs automotive windows and ask for some of the sealant they use...it comes in strips and is pretty much the same stuff

Go to AutoZone or Pep Boys and get the clear silicone...there is a brand called No. 7....that's the best, it comes in a white tube. It has good heat resistance, and is crystal clear and it's not runny at all. Just don't go banging someone's wife...: ) HA HA....I like to kid around.
