A Terrific Tint
Alright, me and a buddy are planning on getting our cars done at Terrific Tint in Laguna Niguel next Friday. We have yet to make an appointment, but I just wanted to check up on the reputation of this shop. The guy I talked to on the phone sounded very professional, and he even mentioned something about a California-legal front window tint. Lifetime warranty from bubbles and fading, $175 out the door each car, by appt. [work finished same day]. What do you guys think? Thanks.
Most important is... what type of film. Some film fades after awhile and some tend to not fade or take longer to fade... these will affect the price of tint. I got my tint all around for $95.

I think I paid 150ish, but there is only one place around here that does it, so my choices are limited, I heard of a person who does work out of a personal garage or something in a small town near by, but fawk that i'd just pay the $150 @ Z-Tech (Ziebarts)
any kind of tint on the front windows is ILLEGAL in california (who cares right?). make sure you get the best tint they have (might as well pay more if it's going to be on your car forever), because there's cheap tint that will turn purple after awhile, and it looks sh!tty!

If you read at the Bottom it says that the list may not be current. Every police officer I've ever asked including my CHP buddy agree that any tint on the front windows is illegal!

ThsUserNmIsDumb, if you find a good place and they give you a better deal if you bring in another car (me) let me know.

Alright, here's the deal: My cousin got his rsx done at California Tint for $100. He said that he didn't get a warranty when he went there, and I also think the tint looks greenish. Am I hallucinating?

I've had my Civic, my Galant, and my cousins 2005 Accord, done there and I see no green in the tint, it looks perfect to me.
I originally had the tint on my Galant done at A & G but that was a mistake cause I had to take it back 3 times to get it redone and it still had bubbles, so finally I took it to California Tint and they did a great job!
Im also gonna take my benz there as soon as I have time. But again I know they offer lifetime warranty, and the work is good so thats where I'll go from now on.
