Audio System (thanks Honda (not)) How do i pimp it out?

Hey everyone, whats going on?
I Just cruised around in my buddy's car, 90something accord. He has 2 subs and a kickass amp. The sound is frigging nuts in it.

And Im wondering where to start on my audio system, like can I just buy 1 sub until i get more money, or do i need an amp as well?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, or just tellin me bout what u did with your ride for audio would be coo too

thx
Mark

You will need a head unit...amp...sub...and wiring. Costs alot in the end. Dont bother getting one thing at a time...save up and get something ur gonna wanna keep. Dont get sucked into the sony "1000" watt for 100 bucks deal. Other than that I dont know much about audio, but ask norek or andrew(si2nv). Good luck!

my friend and I put a sony amp in his bros car 500w on 2 10" pioneer subs, not near the quality mine is, but for the price... i'd buy it... the amp was like $50 range, subs were $30-40 each, we got a cheap box for $35 aswell.. cheap *** wiring kit for $10-15.. for under $200 he had a decent system.. (but then again he just started driving, doesnt have a lot of $, and obviously doesnt have an ear for quality... so its perfect for him... I dunno he may realize the qual sucks, but it works until he has big $)

ok if u want a decent system this is what u will need

a CD deck, ranging from 200- 500 bucks according to features

an amp that will multiply the signal from your deck to the subs, 250- 2000 bucks

a sub or 2, eith 1 12inch or more, they go for around 100-250 each

and wireing kit for aroung 100 bucks

and u r set

yeah but speakers only if u care about sound quality, if all u care about is BASS ( thats how i was when i first got the system) then u dont really need new speakers, because all u want to hear is bass
