word...Ive been negotiating with this dealer in oklahoma(texas border) on a 2k0 gsr...real nice low miles but its got nasty yellow accents so they want to auction it off....I was like hmmmm u want to take in a trade, I can make the vic stock...stock cars are wroth more to dealers then modded ones...

will either of those rockford amps push 2 10 inch kicker comps good? I got a ghetto fleamarket amp that sucks so bad it pushes one and even then struggles... it says it is 800 watts.. lmao.

I would say the 160a4 bridged would, also the 150a2 bridge mono would run 1 kicker(rated @ 37.5w per channel rms) the 160a4 runs about 80rmsx2 bridged...

any amp may say 800 to 1000 watts butt thats peak which means it will hit peak at every few days. but rockford fosgate amps push the watts said at rms(all the time). other apms its at peak if u test it with a tester a 1000 watt generic amp will only push 120 watts rms. when u buy an amp look at rms . thats what counts. if my kicker comps r rated at 200 watts make then the 10 should only handle 100 to 130 watts rms. then the amps should be good enough to push the subs.

yuppers, I try to beat that into people all the time, these fosgate amps u have are before fosgate sold out mainstream and started slacking in their quality. I had a 160a4 pushing a 10" jl in a bandpass and two 65." mb quart component set-ups, sounded awsome, made the ten bump nice and the components crystal clear....I hate people who assume because an amp says 12 billion watts it actually has that output...

I figured that out back in the day with my first amp... he he yeah that does get annoying when peeps are like oh I got a 1000 watt amp and really it is nothing more than a piece. I got this ghetto flea market one free... well this guy used to live with me and left... he also left all of his belongings... came back broke into the house, stole my check book and watch etc... anything of value but couldn't find his stereo stuff. =) So I just threw it all in my car and called it my own. I guess I'll pass on those amps. I'm going to the flea market to day to look at rockford amps. I have always always heard good things about them. I just never had the funds to purchase. Thanks anyway!
