In need of a motor, mods please leave here
I know this is a wtb, but I need it really soon, so I need pleople to see it.
I just threw a rod in mine, so I need an EX motor, MD PA VA area, >40k. If you know anyone, friends or whatever, PLEASE call me!

well, I am from olney, my car is at a shop I used to work at in burtonsville, but I live in towson. Actually rob I think you put one of your business cards on my civic, at the towson town mall, where I work. I have the silver one with a tsnunami kit, silver wheels 6 spoke alt rims. I dunno it said your name on it
and I did check brandywine, My shop told me 1300 for just the motor, so I looked online at brandywine, found 950, then called and got 850, but my boy who works at BB rockville is friends with some people and one guy said he found one at brandywine for me for like 350. i dunno, I swear I have seen people selling them around for like 500.......

ahh i remember your car. You can get a motor on ebay for like $300-500 plus shipping so even that is cheaper than 1300. Engines are hard to come by locally. Drop a crate engine in there or a K20

Thanks to everyone for their replies! I actually found one from LKQ its a 2004 ex motor w/ 2k miles, for 595 shipped, I couldnt believe it. They said they ship motors here all the time so they didnt charge for shipping. If anyone else needs a motor www.lkqcorp.com, they have like 50 civic engines, and a good 20 of them are 2004 engine with really low miles for cheap. Best deal I could find, even compared to ebay!
