Please Help

i need some help...i dont know if this has been answered before, but here goes...a month ago, we had to bring our Isuzu Rodeo to the dealership, because we couldnt get the key out of the ignition switch. so, we bring it to the dealership, and my dad asks if this has happened to anyone and if there is a recall on this. The guy said that there wasn't, and that this was the first time he's seen it happen. We ended up paying $1xx.
So today, i decide to check for recalls (because the key almost got stuck again on Sunday), and i find a recall for this.

if we bring this recall in, will we be able to get our money back?

The willingness of dealerships to rip their customers off, in addition to their sheer incompetence, never ceases to amaze me.

Hell yeah, you should get your money back.

And "when" you do get your money back (it's not a question of 'if' cuz you are getting your money back), I would still write a complaint to their head office to complain about the practices and/or incompetence of this particular dealership.

Not only did they not check to see if there was a recall (which they should have known about without having to check ... or maybe they knew about it but decided to hide it from you), but they probably didn't even fix your problem properly ... AND they still charged you for it. Amazing ...

thanks ronin! ya, my dad thought they didnt do anything, because there was a ton of WD40 around it, and like i said in my first post, the key almost got stuck again.

and when my dad said that this car was not that good (there was something wrong with the engine at 20,000 miles....we got charged for that. and guess what, as im typing this, i see another recall for that!) the guy said, "You know what?! Thats your own opinion! keep it to yourself" and guess what he said when we got our car back? "To tell you the truth, I'd never buy an Isuzu."
