can someone point me to a place that dicusses how to deal with the holes drilled into the back of the trunk for the emblem? i want to take it off, but i dont want the ghetto holes showing...

you should have some experience with body work, but you have to weld them up then grind it, glaze it, prime it, and paint it. i suggest going to a body shop to make it look right.

hmm, good idea. i wonder how much they would charge. if it was alot, i think id wait just to save that money for a carbon fiber trunk...

Bondo or glass it thats how i did whole trunk....emblems and keyhole looks awesome and i did it myself took about a days worth of work to apply and sand

Best thing is to way till you have alot of touch ups to do on your car.
I had to have the entire hood/front bumper and side passenger door repainted. The bodyshop quote me a good price, i told him to include the emblem shaving with it.. and he did it... voila..


a good guy shouldn't charge you more than 200$ for the entire repaint of the trunk by itself..

If you want it to look good, go to a bodyshop. Downside is the whole trunk needs new paint after that and it may not match. Some ghetto things have been using silver vinyl stickers to cover each hole.

i don't get why people try so hard to get rid of their honda signs and the key hole... if you don't want to show that you got a honda, don't get a honda, and why woud u want to get rid of the convenience of an extra access to the trunk?
