well, just like the cr-vtec of before the k24/k20 is all about low end torque! something most honda guys have never seen in there cars..i don't know if anyone has the swap in the em2/es's yet, the k24 block is taller than the k20 and don't know if it clears...?....
why would you rather get a type-R??? This would be a hell of alot cheaper. probably $1500 total. with more dispacement and ready for more turbo. WIth the difference in price you could buy a turbo and have over 250HP i'm sure. so THATS why i wouldnt buy an r-type

i think alot of people would like to find a type R for 3000...lol... the whole reason im doing this is because im going to turbo this. then later im goign to take the whole thing apart, P@P, and fully build the engine and destroke to 2.2 l

frankly installing the type R has advantages and disadvantages....harder to find parts and to get full potential u must run higher octance gas vs more $$ to fix a problem vs easier to find fix and maintain but less goodies/power....i like hondaluvers idea and i hope you update us when you get it down....go for it dude! im doin a a2 swap then building internals via toda and much more and im also keeping 4 lug....3500 for engine and tranny +helical lsd from type R, 2000 for other parts plus 1000 for labor plus 180 for ecu reflash plus 750 for other misc parts....then comes the tuning

so the 220 hp type r would get 180 (around it) to the ground ... but still 185 thats not much. my bro was gettin 210 to the ground
