Damn it, B+G coilover shock is leaking!!!
Damn man. I was just doing a routine check on my car's tires and I see a puddle near my left rear wheel. Thought it was brake fluid, but after further inspection, oil was leaking from my shock. Doh!!! Bought them brand new like 2-3 years ago when they just came out and were pretty much the only full coil-over out. I think the warranty only covers springs lifetime and the shocks 1 year. Damn IT!!! I don't even race, auto x, or drive hard. I just wanted the B+Gs hoping that a full setup will be more reliable then Ground Controls and Konis, plus I knew OEM shocks would eventually blow out anyway. I wanted to avoid that headache, but guess not.
I'm thinking of driving down to San Diego and just telling them that my shock is busted an I bought it from MMR recently. If that doesn't work, how much do you guys think will cost to repair it? If too much, I guess I can drive on a blown shock...haha. It feels normal right now and I hear people driving on blown shocks all the time anyway. Sorry for sounding lame, but that's a poor man talking...

call them up and tell them to replace it. I am not sure how much it will cost, but probably about $200 just for the shock.

yeah they might be able to. I don't see why they wouldn't. But that means you have to send it back and put your stock stuff back on while they fix it.

And I think the B&Gs are rebuildable too. The question is, who would you take it to to rebuild? My car still gonna be on a jack stand for atleast 3 days while they fix and ship the shock, so I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do this without losing too much money.
